Latest Updates from Our Project:

Here’s what to expect next
almost 2 years ago – Tue, Feb 07, 2023 at 01:03:14 PM

Thank you for supporting Lovecraftian Horrors which was 1 of 20 projects participating in Pintopia 2023. Thanks to your support 100% of the projects were fully funded!

There are a few next steps I wanted to share:

  1. Expect an email letting you know your payment has been charged. If there are any issues with your payment we will notify you with next steps.

  2. We will need to collect some additional info such as your pin selections and shipping information before we send rewards. In the coming weeks we will send you a survey to collect that information.

  3. Since all Pintopia projects were 100% funded, you will be getting a FREE Pintopia 2023 pin from BackerKit. And if you backed 3+ pins you’ve earned some additional pins. Stay tuned for more information from BackerKit about how you will receive those pins.

Again, thanks for your support and stay tuned for more information soon.

One week left - new poll!
almost 2 years ago – Wed, Feb 01, 2023 at 03:36:22 PM

Hello all you Lovecraftian Horrors fiends,

With one week remaining, I just wanted to thank you all again for backing, and I figured this group would be able to answer a very serious question that came up the other day.

If Shub-Niggurath, Cthulhu, and Hastur got into a direct confrontation, who would win?

Obviously, I had to substitute Cthulhu in for our baby little protoplasmic horror, as it really stands no chance again the King in Yellow nor the Black Goat with A Thousand young, but I felt you knowledgeable folks with great taste in arcane lore and mythos would have the answer.

Thanks again and looking forward to seeing you at the finish line!

Thanks again,
Rick

200% funded, plus backing cards vote!

Ia! Ia! The stars must have aligned with this one, as we're over 200% funded with two weeks to go!

Because of the "teamwork makes the dreamwork" philosophy of Pintopia, I'm not gonna keep updating y'all with stretch goals and the like, as we have team stretch goals! Remember, if you back multiple campaigns, limited-edition pins unlock that you can only get through spreading your hard-earned dollars around!

That said, I'm working on designing the backing cards for Season 1 of the Lovecraftian Horrors (does this imply there will be future seasons? Hmmmmm).

This is what I've got right now, but I'm not sure if I should keep the color theme consistent through the season, or if I should vary it up from pin to pin, as for future seasons I could always change up the pattern in the back, or add the season to the backing card.

I know some of you just see backing cards as ways of getting your pins to you safely, but I always like nice packaging, so let me know what you think!

Campaign Goal Reached! Lovecraftian Horrors are a Go!
almost 2 years ago – Tue, Jan 17, 2023 at 10:19:11 PM

Hello dear fiends,

Whew, what a day. It's been a few years since I launched my last crowdfunding campaign, and my focus got shifted from enamel pins to building a video game, so I honestly had a lot of trepidation coming into Pintopia. But y'all blew me out of the water and we're fully funded and I'm so grateful for everyone who made this happen.

As an independent artist, your support means the world, and I just wanted to quickly say thank you to you all.

Special shout-out to Jason and the BackerKit team for making Pintopia super easy for me and inviting me to take part in this event!

Thank you again, and I highly encourage y'all to also check out the other rad pin campaigns that are part of Pintopia.

Jeez, now I have to go figure out what to update y'all on since we crushed the campaign goal so quickly.

In the meantime, let me know if you have any questions about anything

Cheers,
Rick
